The Night Owl Interactive team is seven members strong and all kinds of talented. This boutique shop focuses on “building user-friendly websites, web applications, and mobile apps for mid-size companies and educational institutions.” Across the board, the Night Owl team’s primary focus is usability. We whole-heartedly agree with this stance; if a website or app is not usable, then the design is irrelevant.

Night Owl Interactive took its name from the late night work sessions team members shared in college. They were impressed with the inspiration and collaboration that resulted from burning the midnight oil, and how their shared evenings also led to the birth of great ideas. In order to preserve this energy the name, Night Owl, was adopted.

Night Owl Interactive recently produced a website for Jay Godfrey that is the perfect digital storm: effortless usability + excellent design. The team employed an intuitive interface that lets users quickly browse the collections. The About page also does a nice job of presenting a designer’s “notebook” in a digital format.
