Bulk raw river stone is mined from the deposits, then transported to the river stone crushing & screening plant.
At the plant, raw river stone will be fed into jaw crusher for primary crushing by vibrating feeder. After primary crushing, the material will be transferred to secondary crushing equipment like impact crusher for further crushing. Then the screening process will begin.
Usually, we will equip the river stone crushing & screening plant with multi-deck vibrating screen. The vibrating screen is a key equipment tosievethe crushedstones into different grades.
The crushed stone meet the demands will be transported to the stockpile, the other will be sent to cone crusher or impact crusher for fineness crushing.

River stone screening plant is the major sieving plant to separatethe mined river stone. The major equipment used in river stone screening plant is vibrating screen and heavy duty belt conveyor.
Our river stone screening plant can separate sand, granule, pebble, cobble from the mixture. The final grain sizes of river stone crushing plant are: 0-2mm, 2-4mm, 4-8mm,8-16mm, 16-30mm, 30-45mm, 45-64mm and larger.

The major river stone are: sand, gravel (granule, pebble), cobble.
Sand is >0.0625 to 2 mm (0.0025 to 0.0787 in) in size, Gravel can be sub-categorized into granule (>2 to 4 mm/0.079 to 0.16 in) and pebble (>4 to 64 mm/0.16 to 2.5 in), while is >64 to 256 mm (2.5 to 10.1 in).
Gravel is an important commercial product, especial for gravel-surfaced roads.Both sand and small gravel are also important for the manufacture of concrete too. A rock made predominantly of pebbles is termed a conglomerate, which can be crushed and be used in aggregate plant.
Cobble stone can be directly used in cobblestone road, and also can be crushed into all kinds of aggregate, which can be used in concrete.
