July 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Boyka’s DeCock Farms & Greenhouses is pleased to announce they are ready to serve you with the first fruits of harvest.  Mid- July is the time to stop at their wonderful location for the freshest of fruits that Michigan has to offer.

Boyka’s has been around for years it started as a roadside stand when they began selling their top quality fresh fruits and vegetables off of wagons on 23 Mile Road.  They now have the 3rd and 4th generations working the land and selling the goods from it.

Boyka’s opens in May with flowers, bedding plants and hanging baskets to welcome in the growing season.  In Mid July they are again ready for the public and the community they love by providing fresh fruits and vegetables.

Their approach to growing seems to have paid off.  Boyka’s DeCock Farms & Greenhouses was voted Best of the Best in Macomb County by the Macomb Daily publication for 2011, beating out Michigan’s biggest farmer’s market, Detroit’s Eastern Market.  Beating out the “big dogs” is just one way that their love and commitment to what they do is proving to be the way to go.

If you’re in the area why not stop in and check them out.  You can visit Boyka’s online at boykasfarmmarket.com. They are located on 23 Mile Road in Macomb Township, five miles West of I-94, and five miles East of M-53, between Romeo Plank and Card Road.
