“monsoon Kreative Tashan- 2011”@iift (realm Of Rain Fun Under One Roof)

July 17, 2011 - PRLog -- IIFT Surat had conducted one day activity called “Monsoon Kreative Tashan-2011” on Saturday, 16 July 2011, at the IIFt Institute for the fresher’s batch of Fashion Designing. Student’s creative work under this activity was judged by Mr. Kunjan Goswami and Miss Mansi Nasikwala, (commercial Artist from Surat).  

In this monsoon activity, new students of Fashion Designing course were allotted classroom area and were asked to decorate the same based on Monsoon themes. Students Creativity came up with ten groups named Dancing peacock, Dancing Frog, Masti Makers, Rain Riders, and Thunder Rains and so on and on the basis of which they decorated their allotted area.

The activity was a perfect blend of creative ideas and best use of feathers, thermocols balls, leafs, sand, fountain, cloth paintings, sea shells and others. In short, It was the perfect place where the realm of rain fun, be it at grassroot level, In Village, During night time, or for the plants and sea animals was felt under one roof by their creative monsoon theme decoration.

Students of IIft were motivated and inspired to work under team in this creative learning session. “How we can potray things with the best use of materials is enhanced by this. We didn’t knew, we will land up creatively by using all the waste, nature and other material in a best and effective way.”Said by the students.

According to the Faculties of IIFT, “The Main purpose of this Activity was to bring all the students of different batches together and learn creatively in good company of each other. We didn’t not think that students will really come up with such creativity. We were happy to see their efforts and enthusiasm in their work.”Said by the Faculties of IIFT.

Lastly the activity ended with the award session. Students work was appreciated and recognized on the basis of four categories called “ Best of Theme”,” Best use of Material”, “Best Team Work” and “Best Creative Concept”.

3)     Best Team Work:- Masti Makers
4)     Best Use of Material:- Thunder Rides
