Capitol Lounge hosts comedy fundraiser for the staff of the Tune Inn

July 8, 2011 - PRLog -- WASHINGTON, DC – The Capitol Lounge announced it is hosting a comedy benefit for staff of the Tune Inn to help the staff after a fire destroyed the kitchen and has forced it to close indefinitely.  Three of the area’s best comics have agreed to perform and a portion percent of the proceeds will be donated to the staff of the Tune Inn.

Jason Weems – http://jasonweemscomedy.com –  has been seen at the most prestigious “By Invitation Only” comedy festival in the world, The Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and recently added a featured semi-finalist credit to his name on the hit NBC Series Last Comic Standing. In December 2010, he filmed his first hour comedy special entitled Jason Weems, Vol. 1: Intellectual Property in his hometown that has since been released independently.
