The Boulder-Denver area auto dealership pledged $1.00 for every "Like" they would receive on Facebook until they reached $1000.00 by October 1st, 2011.

Meals on Wheels strives to end senior hunger by 2020, and with your “like” on Facebook, you will help bring Meals on Wheels one step closer to making that happen.

Meals on Wheels is the largest and oldest organization in the nation that represents those who offer meal services to older people in need of meals and nutrition. They depend on volunteers and the charity of the community to meet the needs of these people they help so very much.

Meals on Wheels delivers one million hot, nutritious and delicious meals a day nationwide to home bound seniors five days a week, allowing them to continue to live independently in the comfort of their own homes, with dignity and respect. Special and regular meals are available upon request. All meals are low-sodium and low-fat. Often times, the volunteer delivering the meal is the only person the senior comes in contact with all day. So not only are Meals on wheels bringing food but they also are able to do a safety check and provide companionship for the clients.
