www.ShopOnYourDoorstep.com Is One Year Old

June 28, 2011 - PRLog -- On 1st July 2011 it will be one year since Sarah Dening launched her website Shop On Your Doorstep.  The mother of 4 from Broadstairs continues to push forward with her business which is a “virtual department store” selling everything from personalised gifts to contemporary furniture.

Since the launch, the website has continued to grow and thrive.  Local independent retailers from Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate continue to sell via Shop On Your Doorstep, alongside up and coming UK product designers and well known designer brands.

Sarah herself has been nominated for an award at The Mumpreneur Awards 2011, a national award scheme for mums who run their own enterprise.  Sarah has been nominated in the “Best Online Business” category.  Sarah now has to wait until August, when she will find out whether she has made the finals, which will be taking place on 25th September 2011.

The website itself is now in the running for “Website Of The Year” with The Good Web Guide.  There will be only one winning site, picked by a team of qualified judges. The winner will be announced during Global Entrepreneurship Week from 15th to 19th November.  Customers can tell The Good Web Guide why they think Shop On Your Doorstep should win via a link from www.ShopOnYourDoorstep.com
