By: iBex Maipad Mx10g Tablet PC - Flytouch 3 Reviewer iBex released the MaiPad Mx10g the other day and it has been getting pretty good reviews. While I must admit the 32gb iBex Flytouch 3 runs faster than the iBex Mx10g, the Mai Pad definitely has potential. "Mai" in Chinese has 2 different meanings. The first "εβ means to sell, and the second "δΉ°β means to buy. iBex's CEO Schmidt says, " The MaiPad has several different meanings for Chinese consumers and in English it can the transliterated into meaning "My Pad." From my experience naming, branding, terminology of these tablets can sometimes be confusing. The main difference between the Maipad Mx10g Tablet and iBex Flytouch3 is the Mx10g has an extra Sim Card slot for popping in 3g WCDMA EVDO Broadband Internet Cards. The IBex Flytouch 3 supports external 3g broadband. The rest of the ports are the same. one tf (micro-SD) card slot, two USB ports (iBex Fly touch 3 you can plug in the Huawei E1750 3g Modem), and mini HDMI port. The other big difference is the Maipad MX10g only has a 6000mah battery while the iBex Flytouch3 has a 8000mah battery. It is still unknown if an android 2.3 (Gingerbread) I am a proud owner of a 32gb iBex Flytouch 3, but the Maipad Mx10g gets a close second place in my books. It will probably be another 3 months before an 8gb or 16gb iBex MX10g is released but until then "mai" or "mai" a tablet a day in China will be one thing that keeps the Chinese economy churning.
