Local real estate expert chosen for 2011 Summit panel

June 20, 2011 - PRLog -- PHOENIX, Ariz. – Valley resident and 20-year real estate veteran, Randy Bury was recently invited to participate in the executive guest panel at the 2011 Summit hosted by John Burns Real Estate Consulting.

Held in June in Laguna Beach, Calif., the panel was asked to address the pros and cons of public vs. private homebuilders as well as the short-term and long-term likelihood of public homebuilders increasing market share. Bury’s experience in senior management for Pulte Homes and the launch of his own homebuilding company in 2004, gave Bury insight on the inner workings of both entities.

At the client-only annual Summit, builders, investors and bank groups met and discussed top real estate related issues. On June 6 and 7, Bury was on the panel, moderated by John Burns, with vice chair of Pulte Homes Tim Eller, Meritage vice president Phillippe Lord, and Warmington Homes president Jim Warmington.

Other key attendees at the 2011 Summit included: Steve Hilton CEO and chairman of Meritage Homes, Margaret Whalen managing director at JP Morgan Chase, and Pete Fioretti founder and CEO of Mountain Real Estate.

Bury spent almost a decade working for Pulte Homes, where he held positions in senior management, including President for Pulte Homes Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Tucson Divisions, and Regional CFO of Pulte Homes (California), where under his direction the builder won multiple JD Power Awards and Homebuilder of the Year for Southern Arizona. In 2004, Randy Bury founded Randall Martin Home, headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz. Randall Martin Home designed and built stylish homes ranging from 1,600 to more than 4,000 square feet throughout metropolitan Phoenix.

Randy Bury currently serves as president of RB Land Ventures, which specializes in purchasing residential raw land for development and sale to homebuilders.
