The HDS IE is based on the current healthcare industry mandates towards a true longitudinal health record for patients across the country.  The Information Exchange (IE) has been designed to enable access to health information across the continuum of care.

Healthcare Data Solutions is currently using the HDS IE to exchange data for Lab Orders and Results with partners such as: Lab Corp, Quest, Meditech, GE, Ion Lab Hub, PAML Labs, Oracle Labs and RSS Labs.

In addition to our extensive Lab Ordering capabilities, Healthcare Data Solutions Information Exchange (HDS IE) offers the exchange of patient information necessary for the continuity of care through PHR and HIE exchanges.  Patient information that can be exchanged includes: providers, patient demographics, problems, diagnosis, medications, medication allergies, food allergies, family history, medical history, medication history, surgical history, transcribed reports, and text reports.
