SOE Software Hosts Online Election Results for Contra Costa, CA

June 8, 2011 - PRLog -- The Contra Costa Elections Division has posted unofficial election results for the special election on June 7, 2011. Sixty five precincts participated in nine contests. The unofficial results of the election, which are being displayed online utilizing SOE Software’s Clarity ENR, can be found at:

Unofficial election results report 14,996 ballots cast in the Contra Costa Elections Division Special Election. At the time of this press release, candidate Dan Romero had received the most unofficial votes with 1,526 ballots cast in his favor for the City of Hercules city council member seat.  Three thousand, four hundred twelve unofficial ballots were cast in favor of the half-cent sales tax increase for the City of Richmond, while 4,459 unofficial ballots opposed it.

Contra Costa’s unofficial election results provide vote totals broken down by precinct. Contra Costa’s election night results are available online using Clarity ENR and list the ballots cast and turnout on a precinct-by-precinct basis. The public may review or download and print a complete copy of the election results.
