Solve IT Nominated for Technology Company of the Year

June 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Lakewood, CO (June 2, 2011) - It has been a big year for Solve IT, and its only midway through. The small company headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado has been stretching its marketing legs for the first time in the company’s ten year run.  Among the top honors, was being chosen to compete for Small Business of the Year put on by the South Metro Denver Chamber.  Garrett Brucker, Solve IT's President was also nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year, the distinguished award offered by Ernst and Young.   Although they did not take home the prize, the nomination alone is worthy of praise.  The latest feat by the company is to be a finalist in CSIA's Apex awards, as Technology Company of the Year.  "We are grateful to have had the opportunities presented to us this year.  We have worked hard to be in a position where we have contributed to the community and become a recognizable brand.  The idea of being a contestant is exciting," said Garrett Brucker, President of Solve IT.  

In addition to the awards that they have been nominated for, Solve IT has won two titles recently, including Best Technology Workplaces 2010 and HTG Peer Group of the Year.  Solve IT put on Recycle IT last September with the City of Lakewood and the Rooney Road Recycling Center (3RC) and sponsored Extreme IT Makeover (EITM) in November, both events of which created much attention in the community- including raising money for 3RC and encouraging recycling of technology product in the city of Lakewood, and giving away $30,000 in technology and service to Seniors' Resource Center with EITM.  Solve IT plans to run both events again in 2011, setting the stage for more opportunity to give back to the Colorado community.
