May 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Vincent Clerc will be one of the high-profile athletes taking part in the Orangina Beach Rugby competition in Paris next month.

The French international winger currently plays for Stade Toulousain, but he will be allowed to take part in this fun and exciting tournament at the Palais Omnisports Paris Bercy on Friday June 3rd.

Clerc will be joined by Christophe Dominici and Serge Betsen in lining up for the event, with six teams involved in total.

The organisers revealed that the Paris spectacle has been organised after successful competitions in Marseille and Toulouse in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

In order to turn the Bercy arena into a beach 1,200 tonnes of sand will be spread around the playing surface.

The game is a mixture of rugby sevens and touch rugby.

As well as enjoying the performance of Clerc and the various other professionals on the pitch, attendees will have the chance to see cheerleaders and DJs.

Tickets are available online for between €5 and €10 (£4.35 and £8.70), with the games beginning at 19:30 local time and expected to finish by 22:30.
