May 5, 2011 - PRLog -- May 4, 2011 – Denver, CO- Justin Bierschwale, ARA, of Bierschwale Land Company in Junction Texas recently instructed a Wind Powered Generators – Impact on Land Ownership Seminar as part of the Annual Spring Meeting of the Northeast Chapter, ASFMRA. This seminar was attended by 40 land experts, including local and national rural appraisers and farm management professionals.

As the need for energy independence increases and the search for alternative sources continues, wind energy has surfaced to fill the gap. The one-day Wind Power Seminar reviewed the mechanics of wind powered generators and the wind park development process. Local, state, and federal policies are discussed and land ownership issues were also reviewed. The basic economics of wind generators were covered, including actual sales and income analysis to develop the internal rate of return were presented to prepare students for appraisal purposes.
