gREATESST Delivers Energy Audit Training to Pepco Energy Advisors

April 26, 2011 - PRLog -- WASHINGTON DC – greeNEWit, an energy solutions firm that streamlines energy projects for residential, commercial and government clients, provided 24 hours of comprehensive training on energy auditing relating to the home performance industry to Pepco energy advisors. The three-day training took place August 3-5, 2010 at the LEED® certified Edison Building, 701 9th St. NW Washington D.C.  This training is the first set in a series of three with the next phase occurring September 14-16, 2010 in Carney Point, New Jersey.

greeNEWit, in collaboration with greeNEWit Government Contracting and gREATESST, trained 17 Pepco energy advisors and call center support technicians on energy auditing and the importance of having diagnostics in place. Other topics included health and safety concerns within the home, do it yourself energy savings tips and electric base-load reduction techniques.

Since 2008 greeNEWit has been providing energy audits within the Pepco territory for residential customers and the gREATESST software is used in their Income Eligible Energy Efficiency Program.
