Simon Ourian claims that over the years he became frustrated by "the lack of truly effective skin creams." Dr. Ourian started making his own blends and providing them to his patients. After his patients continued to prod him, Ourian partnered with a laboratory to further develop his formulas. He said he was looking for a solution to his patients' biggest problem: sun damage. The doctor said that sun damage caused wrinkles, destroyed skin tone and caused age to show through the skin. He also recommended that everyone use a sun block with an SPF of at least 30.

Vanderpump is now 50 years old, has been happily married to her husband, Ken Todd, for 29 years and has two grown children. This might be hard for some to take in, since Vanderpump's appearance is that of a vibrant young woman as opposed to a mother with grown kids. Women everywhere are marveling at how she's managed to stay so stunningly attractive.

Although Vanderpump has admitted to having had cosmetic procedures such as Botox, she sees no cause to hide it. She also suggested that these procedures are few and far between, and that in the meantime she’s relied solely on Epione to maintain her skin's radiant glow.
