Chima Brazilian Steakhouse is Cooking Up a Social Media Presence
Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, a restaurant known for their traditional Brazilian seasoned meats and gourmet food presentation, has chosen One Social Media LLC. to manage their social media presence.
By: Bruno Silva
Originating in Uberlandia, Brazil, in 2004 Bruno Silva pioneered the first Chima in the United States, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since then, a total of four restaurants have been established in various locations along the eastern coast.
Following the legend of the Brazilian cowboys--gauchos--
“Our main goal is to provide an exceptional experience for every single customer who enters our doors,” said Bruno Silva, Chima owner. “People come for the food, but they leave with an experience. Social media allows us to continue to contribute to that experience online.”
With only a couple months under its belt, Chima is building momentum and establishing its online presence. By putting their heads together with One Social Media, they are creating strategies in which to provide promotions through their social media sites. Silva, like so many other business owners, is quickly discovering the infinite value of the daily interactions and community social media platforms provide.
“Silva and his staff were aware they need to improve their online presence, but were unsure of how to get there,” said Sean Conboy, VP of social solutions at One Social Media. “Chima felt that we were the best candidate for this job, and is entrusting us to help brand their online presence.”
Chima is using Facebook, Twitter, their blog and Youtube to communicate with customers online. With a faithful client base and exceptional experience backing their name, Chima’s social media following will continue to grow.

Chima Steakhouse-named after chimarrao, a traditional drink of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, that symbolizes hospitality and friendship-certainly lives up to its name. The first Chima restaurant originated in Uberlandia, Brazil located in the state of Minas Gerais. In 2004, Bruno Silva introduced a new style of dining and superior service to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Chima combined traditional Brazilian rodizio and excellent service with an elegant setting. Chima is a place for friends and family to enjoy each other and great food.
