TMI student wins horse-judging award

Grace Cleaver, a sophomore at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, earned a Top 10 place in horse judging at the Houston Livestock Show. She placed seventh out of 800 contestants from all over Texas.
 
April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Grace Cleaver, a sophomore at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, earned a Top 10 place in horse judging at the Houston Livestock Show. She placed seventh out of 800 contestants from all over Texas who competed in the March 7 4-H/FFA horse-judging contest.

Horse judging is the evaluation of a group of four horses at a time for conformation and performance in events such as Western Pleasure, Reining and other classes. Judges’ reasons must be given and verbally articulated in two minutes or less without notes in front of a large audience.

Cleaver is a member of a 4-H Club in Bandera County. She is the daughter of Charles T. Cleaver II of Pipe Creek.
