New 4.1 release of CXO-Cockpit with enhanced version of Extended Analytics

April 13, 2011 - PRLog -- CXO Solutions, provider of the CXO-Cockpit Reporting Suite, the leading web-based Oracle EPM | Hyperion Reporting and Analysis platform, announces the launch of the 4.1 version. “We are very proud to report that we have enhanced our web-based Hyperion analytical platform at some crucial points” says Wouter Born, COO of CXO Solutions.  Our customers have expressed a strong wish for:

1)   Being able to pull multiple sources into one CXO-Cockpit
2)   Having a live connection to HFM

Our 4.1 release has embraced these new functionalities in combination with the existing powerful web-based capabilities of the 4.0 version, says Wouter Born.

MULTIPLE SOURCE:
In version 4.1 it is possible to combine the data from different sources into one CXO-Cockpit application. For example, within one application you can have reports based on an HFM application and reports on an Essbase application. The multi-source development is important for customers and prospects that have multiple instances of Hyperion data or that want to combine a Hyperion source with for instance another operational source (non Hyperion) system.

LIVE LINK TO HFM:
A new development that we are launching is a “live” link from HFM to CXO in version 4.1. With HFM Live Link in version 4.1 it is possible to set-up real time synchronization with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management. In a matter of seconds, data entered in HFM can be viewed in the CXO-Cockpit and will always be in sync with HFM. Our Live Link functionality will be part of our existing offering and will be delivered to our existing and new customers via our regular maintenance program at no additional cost.  

IMPROVED VERSION OF HYPERION EXTENDED ANALYTICS:
Many Hyperion customers struggle to extract their HFM data to other systems. In fact we know from our own experience that this can be a very difficult job. Since the founding of the CXO-Cockpit roughly 4 years ago, Hyperion Extended Analytics has been an important part of our HFM based Solution. With our own highly tuned version of Extended Analytics we are able to easily export (all or just a selection) of HFM data to other sources at high speed. In version 4.1 we have further improved the extraction capabilities of Hyperion Extended Analytics. Please contact us directly to learn more about this topic.
