The Shade Store Announces Social Media Contest On Facebook

The Shade Store has announced the launch of their “WIN A TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY” Giveaway on Facebook. The sweepstakes, which adds contestants through the Company’s “Like” button on Facebook, gives registered participants the opportunity to win a trip for two to New York City during Design Week - May 13-17 2011, as well as attendance to the International Contemporary Furniture Fair® (ICFF). The winner and their guest will stay at Sixty Thompson in Soho and will get a tour The Shade Store’s showrooms in Manhattan.

To enter for the chance to win, entrants must have a Facebook profile. They can then visit The Shade Store’s Facebook page, click the “Like” button, and enter with an active email address. The deadline to enter is May 5, 2011. A winner will be announced after May 8, 2011, via email.  The trip for two to New York City must take place between the days of May 13 – May 17th, which is during the ICFF® at The Jacob K. Javits Center, as well as other Design Week events in the city. Working one-on-one with a representative from The Shade Store, the winner will have their travel accommodations coordinated and confirmed.
