Executive Producer Henry Wong's Team Wins Award at 9th Annual 168 Film Festival

Third Year 168 Film Festival Producer Henry Wong Wins the "Best Music Video Award" Saturday April 2nd at Closing Night's Award Ceremony.

April 6, 2011 - PRLog -- The 2011 168 Film Festival screened international submissions featuring talent such as SNL's Victoria Jackson, and Erik Estrada, and industry awards presenters such as "X-Men" producer Ralph Winter at Glendale's historic Alex Theatre.  The winner of the "Best Music Video Award," executive producer Henry Wong thanked his team in a speech at the conclusion of the day long showcase.  The award winning "Guide Me Home" is an "artistic interpretation" of the song written and performed by Caitlin Coffelt.

Wong's award winning team included director and co-executive producer Clay Banks, co-executive producer and principal dancer and choreographer Susan Silvestri.  Jason Mellerstig and Derrick Warfel served as two of his co-producers, associate producer for the diverse project was Maylin Tu.  Editor of the project was Jeff Cote with Noah Needleman serving as composer for the opening and closing credits.

The executive producer's talent list on his fifth 168 Hour Film Festival project included Caitlin Coffelt who performed, composed and wrote the song "Guide Me Home."  Lead actors were Kendal Brenneman and Rob Wu as husband and wife characters who were also associate producers for the project.  In the role of the little girl was Elizabeth Ryan.

Wong's production team included director of photography Zach Voytas, first assistant director Jes Bickhart and John Ford who served as gaffer and crane operatator. Actress Joan Nelson played a dual role as production assistant as well as overseeing catering for the crew.  Returning 168 alumnus Gregory Scott once again provided on set security services. The registered nurse on set was Tony Porter and E Dasilva assisted Clay Banks.

Producer Wong acknowledged the assistance of many with special thanks for their contributions to the making of his project.  They include David & Debbie Ryan & family, Takeshi Hamagaki, Cathleen Ryan, Emma Sanchez, Dawn Mooney, Paul Wong and family, Leslie Ezeh, Robin Hong, and Susanna Velasquez.
