Sony to Launch Android 3.0 Tablet in USA This Summer

Finally we’ve got a smattering of knowledge of this. It seems that Sony will take plunge in tablet market by bringing out an android 3.0 tablet as the first attempt. Android Honeycomb is definitely the best choice if Sony intends to work on a android tablet, or the tablet would become outdated before it gets unveiled.

There is no more detail about Sony’s new tablet. We have no idea as to that processor the tablet will have, or what impressive features Sony would pour on its first tablet. Probably, we might expect some tablet-oriented games. One thing is sure: it will surely be a high-end tablet which, if not better, will run should to should with Motorola Xoom. The company, through its partnership with Ericsson, has plenty of experience with Android handsets.

It is said that this tablet will launch in US first by the end of this summer, which means we have to wait a couple of month. Sony will have to face very fierce competition at that time in the US market. If Sony is able to grab the customers of their handsets, then Sony’ tablet probably can account for a small share. Things would be simple if Sony had taken action early.
