Driver Killed in Boynton Beach Roll-over Crash, reported by Florida Personal Injury Attorney

March 29, 2011 - PRLog -- A driver was killed in an I-95 roll-over crash in Boynton Beach, Florida on Monday, March 28, 2011. The driver was a 42-year-old male. The accident was a two-vehicle crash. It occurred at about 10:30am, and it happened in the southbound lanes of I-95, just south of Gateway Boulevard.

The driver of the second vehicle in the accident was a female. She was 18-years-old, and she was driving a 2011 Honda Civic. As the female driver changed lanes on I-95, she apparently crashed into the rear of the other vehicle, which was a 2004 Ford F-250. The two vehicles got hooked together, then they overturned on the grass shoulder of the road.

The driver of the Ford F-250 wasn't wearing a seat belt. He was ejected, and he unfortunately died at the scene. There was a passenger in the Ford as well. The passenger was also seriously injured and was taken to Delray Medical Center to be treated. The female driver of the Honda Civic was fortunately wearing her seat belt. She was injured as well, and she was taken to Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach. Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.

Seat belts are obviously important for safety reasons. They can mean the difference between minor injuries and being ejected from a vehicle.
