Elinext Group Corporate Intranet Portal Gets New Functionality: Employee Auction Instrument Launched
Elinext Group corporate intranet portal opens access to a new employee-oriented social networking auction instrument.

The auctions started with the sale of G31-M7 TE Motherboard Biostar, which was estimated a low as 10 U.S. dollars. Computer components are still the most popular item category on sale among staff developers of Elinext Group.
Initially, the auction instrument was a side-project of one of the PHP developers that evolved into a useful web tool for the whole company and a useful solution for the Elinext Group portfolio of case development projects.
The corporate intranet portal of Elinext Group, an international software development company with headquarters in Minsk, Belarus, gets new features. The launch of the portal was announced by Alexei Trigolos, IT Services Director, at the annual staff meeting in January 2011 and since that time it has been used heavily by employees of this active and constantly developing company.
“Employees of one organization, especially when it is about a mid-sized company like Elinext Group, comprise a social group, where, by the way, people spend a significant part of their life,” says Alexei Trigolos, Elinext Group IT Services Director and the corporate portal curator. “Different convenient instruments can make this life more comfortable. This way, with the help of an auction at the corporate intranet portal it is possible to make something nice and pleasant for each other with a much higher level of trust and comfort compared to public auction websites.”
“The auction tool is primarily a more effective social media among employees,” says Ilya Haliashevich, Elinext Group Business Development Manager. “We believe that excellent collaboration depends on team work and on how many relationships there are vis-à-vis team members. The auction tool provides an additional social media point. It is not about encouraging people to exchange goods and services, but to build team spirit and strong corporate identity, which in my mind greatly contribute to the ability of Elinext Group to lower the attrition rate to 9%; a result that makes me proud, compared to our peer software outsourcing and offshore development companies.”
