San Diego, CA - Zoofari Inc. today announced while the economy is looking to be making a turn around, the animals of Zoofari and their partner, Wild Wonders Wildlife Center, have taken a big hit with a DECREASE IN FUNDING from conservation programs, and a huge shortage in funding for SCHOOL PROGRAMS. This is YOUR OPPORTUNITY to help this amazing foundation and KEEP the EDUCATION of conservation ALIVE. This Earthday fundraiser, April 22nd, is fun and simple. Are you a golfer? Have you always wanted to meet a live cheetah up close and personal? Do you wonder what it’s like to sink a putt with a porcupine in the audience? Then Zoofari invites you to their annual SAFARI SCRAMBLE GOLF TOURNAMENT, where guests will be engaged in their OWN WILDLIFE ADVENTURE while enjoying a FUN filled day in the SUN full of entertainment, prizes and wild animal encounters at every hole. FRIDAY APRIL 22nd with shotgun start at 1PM The Vineyard at Escondido, 925 San Pasqual Road, Escondido, CA 92025 Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 in education funds to continue our conservation efforts through LOCAL EDUCATION programs targeting youth and our schools, our future wildlife conservation advocates. With all the CUTBACKS in funding, your SUPPORT is NEEDED now more than ever. With proceeds from this event Zoofari hopes to offer title one schools and low income students wildlife education grants for on sight school assemblies, after school hands-on life science programs, and individual need-based scholarships to attend wildlife education camps.
