J.Dot releases "The Debut"

J.Dot began his musical career with his 3 brothers at a young age of 10 years old.  At that age, it wasn’t a serious thing.  It was something they did for fun.  It wasn’t until half way through his army career that he looked at his music as a true avenue for success.  
J.Dot began his musical journey with a close friend by the name of Gunna.  They had previously worked on a few projects together.  J.Dot became focused on his music with an eagerness and determination to learn and grow in this industry.  With his current producer/manager, Herb Williams (aka lovechild), they began putting a lot of songs together and have been catching the audiences’ attention all over the internet.  

J.Dot is proud to announce the release of his debut CD, “The Debut” in mid April, 2011.  On this new CD, lead single “My Life” featuring Queen Dria and produced by Herb Williams, has been pre-released to amazing reviews.  The theme of this song is every destination has obstacles and nothing in life is free.  It has a true coolness to it.  There is plenty of rhyming lyrics, catchy verses, a crazy beat that just makes you want to move your body.  It was through his fans that this song was chosen to represent this new upcoming CD and I totally agree.  

J.Dot brings a unique sound to hip-hop.  You think you’ve heard it all, but he truly found a niche in this music industry that hasn’t been tapped.  J. Dot owns it with that signature sound.  Every song on his upcoming CD is different – the style, the beats, those sexy vocals, the energy and that swagger that just tips the scale.
