KAYAKMORRIS.com will shuttle you upstream on a PONTOON BOAT, then you paddle/float 8 miles back to our location or choose the 10 mile option and float down to the next town of Seneca where we will do pickups in the afternoon!
KAYAKMORRIS.com is conveniently located less than 1 hour's drive from downtown and pledges to be a beginner and kid-friendly resource for the paddling community. We offer unique rentals & tours of Kayaks, Bikes and Canoes on the Illinois river, Mazon river and the I & M Canal. Our unique self guided rentals, guided tours and VIP FLOAT TRIPS are second to none and we are conveniently located right on the water and within 75 yards of 3 wonderful waterways! The Illinois river is lined with sandy beaches and offers 27 miles of paddling without any low head dams. The Mazon river confluence is just across the Illinois river from our location and offers a quiet peaceful winding river that can be paddled from 25 miles south to our location or there is a 7 mile loop that can be explored just beyond the confluence. The I & M Canal is beautiful down in Morris and is only 25 yards from the Illinois river. You may paddle down the Illinois river ~4 miles and then make a small portage up to the canal and paddle back.
