Framework, Method & Tools - Enterprise Architecture occupies a broad continuum from strategic planning through project-level solution design to the management and maintenance of operational business and IT systems. There are tools and techniques that support activities across this continuum; but no single tool or technique provides the whole answer.

The Framework, Methods and Tooling Modules investigates the various frameworks and methodologies, focusing on their overlaps, strengths and weaknesses. Specific attention is given leading market frameworks such as TOGAF 9.0 to more foundation frameworks such as Zachman, MODAF, DODAF and IAF. The module also looks at various tools that support enterprise architecture like, System Architect, MooD and Orbus.

Capability & Competency - This module will guide architects to understand and determine the appropriate levels of skills and capabilities required in their Enterprise Architecture function, assessing individuals against a proven competency model and providing short-term expertise to plug capacity and capability gaps.

Governance & Assurance - The Governance and Assurance section of day uncovers the most appropriate model of governance for various organisations, defining the specific funding and authority models, approval processes and organisational structures needed to ensure that their Enterprise Architecture develops in the direction and at right the pace to meet their required outcomes.

Community & Culture - Community and Culture is about encouraging participants to understand the professional, political and personal motivation and objectives of stakeholders involved and, where appropriate, develop strategies for bringing about the consensus of opinion needed to make Enterprise Architecture successful.
