John Dulong and Exit Realty Metro Support Habitat for Humanity

March 14, 2011 - PRLog -- John Dulong’s Sell Halifax team supports Habitat for Humanity in all of their work.  As part of the EXIT Realty Metro team, a portion of all of their transactions is donated to charity, and “to-date, $2 million has been pledged to Habitat for Humanity across North America.”

Recent EXIT Realty news reveals the story of single mom and new homeowner, Karen McIntosh.  John Dulong and the entire EXIT Realty Metro team are proud to be part of her story.

According to EXIT Realty Habitat for Humanity build coordinator Frances Lauzon, who conducted the interview, “Karen tells me that life is so much easier for her now. [Her son] Mathew is severely autistic and goes to school in Ottawa during the week and it was often very difficult ensuring his safety when he came home on the weekend."

Karen reports that since moving into their EXIT Realty sponsored home, this is not a problem.  "He loves his new home. He plays outside with his dog in his fenced in yard and Karen can keep an eye on him from her kitchen window. Being on two stories instead of three has made a world of difference as well."

Frances goes on to say, "Her daughter, Meagan, is also much happier. Karen finds that she is proud of her home and seems to have more confidence in herself and is happier for it.
"Karen told me that last weekend Mathew was to leave for Ottawa and she found him just looking in the door of his room. With pride, he said "My Room."
