Local Realtor Sets Up Scholarship for Graduating Senior

March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Local real estate agent, Lisa Johnson, has started a scholarship for a graduating senior from North Andover High School that is interested in real estate and/or interested in pursuing a career in real estate.

"Being a lifelong resident of North Andover, I feel that it's my duty to give back to the community, and by investing in our youth, I am able to help not only the student but our industry.  Real Estate is often thought of as something people try after they have failed at other endeavors.  I think it's important to let students know that a career in selling real estate is not only a viable career path, but one that can be extremely lucrative while having the latitude to really build your own business." Lisa says.

The scholarship winner will be chosen from essay submissions and will be announced at "Scholarship Knight" on June 8th at North Andover High School.

Interested students can apply by filling out a 300-500 word essay online through the Schools Website.
