In honor of our 50th Anniversary, IRWD will offer a chance to win up to $50 to customers who find and fix water leaks. “The goal of this promotion it to teach our customers how to detect water leaks and the value of fixing them early,” said IRWD Conservation Manager, Fiona Sanchez. “Fixing a leaky toilet can save 30 to 50 gallons of water per day, while fixing a broken sprinkler can save up to 500 gallons per month. These savings translate into lower water bills, something that everyone can appreciate.” On average, more than 10,000 gallons of water is wasted every year due to running toilets, dripping faucets, and other household leaks—that’ To participate in this special promotion, IRWD customers should: 1) Find and fix all water leaks promptly. 2) Call IRWD customer service at 949-453-5300 for a one-time courtesy leak adjustment on your water bill to avoid over-allocation charges. 3) Mail in original receipts, dated between February 15 and March 31. All participants will be entered to win up to $50 toward repair costs and receive a complimentary conservation kit to encourage customers to be always water smart.
