Healthcare Data Solutions Hires Julie Thompson as Interface Manager

Feb. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Healthcare Data Solutions (HDS) a leading healthcare IT services and solutions provider has announced that Julie Thompson has been named Interface Manager.  Thompson will be managing the interface department for HDS.

Thompson earned her MBA with Quality Management emphasis at the University of Miami.  She is a member of HL7 EHR and PHR- Supportive Functional Model Team (CCHIT) and a member of ASC X12N HIPAA EDI.  Thompson is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Professional in Health Information Exchange (CPHIE).    

With more than 20 years experience, Thompson has worked with companies such as, Beacon Partners, Rotech Healthcare and Planned Systems International.

Thompson will manage the interface department with HDS and provide integration to: electronic medical record (EMR) / electronic health record (EHR) solutions, lab interfaces, Medicaid and Medicare Claims, HL7 message development and interfaces, etc.  In addition, she will manage a team of interface specialists to streamline the interface department.
