Aquillrelle Contest 3 - OPEN!

Feb. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- In short:

a) no entry fees.

b) we wait until we have sufficient good entries and then we close (with a date limit set to November 2011).

c) the first 3 winners are all getting a collection of their poetry published by us, for free. The other suitable entries are published in an anthology.

There is no specific subject to this contest, anyway very follow the guideline.

general rules

1. Participants must be above 18 years of age, or sponsored by such a person.

2. Any style accepted – rhyme, no rhyme, nature, family, erotica, personal, society, humor, etc.

3. We apply no censorship, however it is fair to tell you up front that poems encouraging hate, violence, pornography, derogation of others, drug abuse, and similar – have no chance of winning. Of course, if such aspects are relevant and necessary as part of the “story” – then there is no problem in using them.

4. The specific conditions of each individual contest must be adhered to.

5. Proven plagiarism will result in indefinite banning from the site.

6. Poems must be at most 30 lines long, empty lines included. However poems slightly longer will not be disqualified. This limitation might change occasionally, if specified in the individual contest. Submissions should be in .doc format.



participation and prizes

1 - No entry fee requested.

2 - Each participant can send 1 to 5 poems.

3 - We will have 3 winners. For each winner we will publish 1 book of approximately 150 pages of his/hers poetry, and he/she will receive 1 free copy, postage included. If they wish so, they can get additional 5 copies at publisher price, postage at cost.

The authors keep all copyright to their poetry.

The book will carry an insert mentioning that this poet won first/second/third place in the Aquillrelle Poetry Contest 3. This will be a high quality, officially published book: available on Amazon, inclusive covers design and layout, carrying ISBN.

4 - Winners and finalists will be in an Aquillrelle Anthology book.

5 - Winners and finalists will be published on-line, until the following contest takes place.

Winners will be published on-line indefinitely.

Relevant certificates will be provided to the winners and to the finalists.

6 - Aquillrelle Main Poetry Contest 3 will end once we received sufficient entries to allow sufficient choice for selecting high quality winners and the finalists.
