Feb. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- More & more students are taking out student loans to pay for college. Most of them don't even consider the other options available to them. Scholarships seem to be too hard to fill out & search for, or at least that's what students will have you believe.

Students need to start looking into what the FAFSA offers. It is fairly simple to fill out the FAFSA form. You need certain financial information if you are filling it out yourself & your parents financial information if you live with them. FAFSA uses this information to determine your eligibility for money from the government.

Some options include government loans, usually the same ones you'd apply for if you applied via Sallie Mae. But if you are lucky you may be eligible to receive FREE GOVERNMENT MONEY which is known as grants.

The most common grants that result from filing your FAFSA are called Pell grants. These grants never have to be paid back. So it is a wonder to myself & others why students don't fill out the FAFSA form. More information on the FAFSA can be found at http://studentloandebtsolution.com/loan-help/fafsa-applic... & goes more in depth about the application process.
