Twice Broken brings it on with their new singles "Already Gone" and "It's Only Pain"

Twice Broken exploded onto the music scene back in 2007.  Band members at one point or other, had played together or had crossed paths with the exception of Aaron (lead singer) in the past 8 years.  They have been playing non-stop shows while writing and recording their debut CD “Twice Broken” which was released in the summer of 2010.  Each of the band members’ personalities are very different and their musical backgrounds are very diverse; however, when they come together, they become one unit, one power.  Their music is nourished by dynamic guitar riffs, high energy and pounding beats.  With the inclusion of melodic runs and lyrical genius, Twice Broken has taken their music outside the box and developed a new standard for rock music.  

Twice Broken has two singles they are currently highlighting but have several more on the album:

“Already Gone” which is about reaching a breaking point in some areas of your life experiences in relation to family and friends.  The other single, “It’s Only Pain” is a break up song about perseverance even through the toughest of times.  

“It’s Only Pain” has a melodic intro highlight vocal talent.  The delivery of this particular song is emotional with a gentler all around feel.  It is also dramatic in delivery.  

“Already Gone” delivers a harder rock sound which instantaneously captures your attention the moment you hear the first note.  The guitar riffs in this song are incredible, followed by equally as talented vocals and again all around performance.

These songs are representative of the entire CD partially due to the creative end of the writing process.  The lyrics are based on true life experiences, which are personal and introspective.  This CD is very radio friendly, memorable and sustainable.  They have created a separate niche for themselves.   If your age is between 15 and 70, or whether you listen to classical, classic rock or pop, Twice Broken has  beautifully merged these genre’s and created a sound all their own -  enjoyed by all.  

Twice Broken has had a few songs licensed in different movies.  One of the movies is ‘SickBoy’ which was filmed this past summer and has a release date of spring-early summer.  Song “Already Gone” has a placement in the film also.  

They have recently opened for Creedence Clearwater, in front of 15,000 screaming fans along with other bands such as Bowling for Soup, Grand Funk Railroad,  and Seasons After.  They have also won two regional Battle of the Bands, including The Falls Fest Battle of the Bands.  They were recently involved with the Battle of the Bands through the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas where they were selected out of around 1200 bands.  They made it to the top 20, went back for semi finals and made top 5, finishing 2nd.  Not only has Twice Broken performed in some of the best venues in the nation like Hard Rock Café’ in Las Vegas, but have also performed at the House of Blues on 3 occasions to sell-out crowds.  Twice Broken is performing with Rebab on February 17th in Dallas, Texas.  They will also be performing in the Texas Music Festival on March 4th and 5th with Down (who is Phillip Anselmo of Pantera’s band) and Legend David Allen Coe.   They have scheduled bookings through March, 2011 and are currently planning a nationwide tour.
