“I Smuggled In A Chilean Illegal Immigrant I Met on the Internet.”

Ohio Grandmother Writes Visa Denied… Raw Human Drama
By: Ruth Stowe Null

Jan. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- “I was a 62-year-old grandmother when I smuggled Juan Eduardo past a checkpoint, hiding him in the trunk of my car,” says Ruth Stowe Null.  “I was shocked at how easy it was.”

“The proposed state laws against illegal immigration will ultimately fail,” adds Ruth.  “It is the job of the federal government to handle immigration and secure our borders.  We need comprehensive immigration, a guest worker program, and increased number of visas and a fairer system of issuing them.”

Ruth’s opinion should carry a lot of weight.  After all, she helped a young Christian singer from Chile enter the U.S. illegally.

“If I had it to do over again, I wouldn’t,” says Ruth.  “Once Juan got into this country, he had to live in the shadows… he had no documents, and his prospects for work were very limited.  I wouldn’t want to see other illegals go through what Juan had to endure.”

Visa Denied is real-life drama.  It focuses on Ruth meeting Juan over the internet.  He was an accomplished entertainer with an intense driving need to be loved and respected by his parents and siblings.  Their online relationship resulted in an emotional, gut-wrenching journey… including smuggling him into the U.S…. that changed Ruth’s life forever.  Visa Denied is an up-close and personal, no-holds-barred account of the real consequences of illegal immigration.
