Front End Developer - Web

•   Producing and maintaining web properties for the Company’s web site and desktop clients.
•   You'll be responsible for creating technical design, programming, documenting, creating unit-tests, troubleshooting and bug fixing of the Company's web properties
•   You will have a mindset that strives to improve the performance of code so that end users get the most optimal user experience.
•   You are an advocate for standards, cross-platform, cross-browser development
Expertise/Experience:
•   Expert on AJAX
•   Strong experience in following technologies, tools and frameworks: PHP 5, Object Oriented, jQuery, YUI, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, Photoshop, MVC framework, Zend Framework, Symfony, Code Igniter, JavaScript performance
•   Good understanding about SQL and relational database structures
•   Good knowledge in HTML templating, JavaScript and front end web technologies
•   Excellent understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues.
•   General understanding of version control (SVN).
•   You prefer short deadlines and measurable work-units, seeing your code ship makes you tick
Qualifications:
•   Ideally a BSc degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
•   Masters degree or higher preferred (but not essential)
•   Experience working on Waterfall and Agile developments (e.g. Scrum)
