Since the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, she has volunteered through DePaul University providing translations for a non-profit organization’
s website (Zafen.org), which is involved in rebuilding Haiti’s economy by microlending to businesses in that country. Osaine has also been involved in the translation of professional profiles and paper submissions for the Third World Organization for Women in Science.
