Shepherd Data Services Unveils New Brand, New Staff and Affirms Leadership Status in Twin Cities

Jan. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Minneapolis, MN - Shepherd Data Services, a Minneapolis-based leader in full-service litigation support, announced it has rebranded and added seasoned professionals to its team. Shepherd Data Services (SDS) provides services that bridge from collection to review of data for law firms, professional services firms, corporations and government entities. Christine Chalstrom, president and CEO of SDS, spearheaded the updates and upgrades. Chalstrom brought 21 years of litigation experience, technical education and technical experience when she founded the company in 2002. After running her own law office and then expanding her expertise into the data collection and management arena, Chalstrom set up SDS to help attorneys solve their technical problems and run their practices more efficiently. She is an attorney, programmer, certified trainer, and certified forensic investigator.

Chalstrom has staffed SDS with attorneys and paralegals with extensive litigation and trial experience. Recent new hires include Debra Hatlestad as client services manager. She has more than 30 years’ experience as a legal assistant, paralegal and office administrator. Benjamin Legatt - who has 10 years’ experience as a paralegal with extensive trial experience, including technology support in complex document-intensive civil and criminal trials - will be SDS’s new Client Services Consultant. They also added Brandon Ward, who will head the IT department. Using his veteran programming skills, Ward developed new reporting and tracking systems to enable clients to receive immediate status reports on projects.

Another strong member of the management team is Dennis Waldrop who is Director of Operations. Waldrop has been a thought leader in the litigation support industry for more than 17 years. He joined SDS when the company was founded in 2002. Waldrop’s experience includes large project management such as managing an on-site imaging center with imaging requirements of more than 400,000 pages a month.
