OSX/iOS Developer—#002

Jan. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- We are looking for energetic, self-motivated engineers with a passion for design and the drive for research and learning. Successful candidates will focus on complex development projects for OSX/iOS applications for Mac OS X desktop applications. The OSX/iOS Developer will be participating in all stages of the development process from inception to publishing and will work closely with other developers, analysts, application designers and Quality Assurance. We offer full-time permanent, contact-to-hire, and contract positions in Silicon Valley and Northern California.
Responsibilities:
•   Participate in application design sessions
•   Access all design and production requirements
•   Provide technical information to management
•   Develop applications OS X desktop platform
•   Participate in iOS development effort of porting Mac OS X applications to iOS platform
•   Access QA process
•   Support QA procedure, provide bug fixes, issue resolutions etc.

Skills:
•   Strong knowledge of OS X SDK and basic frameworks
•   Knowledge of iOS SDK and UI metaphore
•   Hands-on knowledge of development tools (XCode, Instruments, etc.).
•   Hands-on knowledge of unit testing
•   Understanding of client/server interactions
•   Knowledge of XML, JSON and related tools and frameworks.
