Follow on Google News | One-day Retreat To Promote Positive Body Image In Breast Cancer Survivors And PatientsYoung Survival Coalition San Diego teams up with psychotherapist Pasha Hogan to teach holistic approach to healing
The event is taking place at La Jolla Cove Bridge Club and will be facilitated by three-time breast cancer survivor Pasha Hogan, psychotherapist and founder of Creative Recovery (TM), a wellness program that empowers participants to transform life’s challenges into profound learning and healing experiences. People in attendance will be led on a holistic, spiritual quest to reconnect with body, mind and soul through guided mediation, storytelling, yoga and art. “Accepting the changes that your body goes through during breast cancer treatment is critical to recovering,” Family and friends impacted by a loved ones' breast cancer diagnosis are also invited to participate. Attendees are encouraged to R.S.V.P for the event. The cost is $40 in advance and $45 at the door; however, a limited number of partial scholarships covering 50 percent of the price are available.
