The Athens Film Festival, presented by the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association took place Friday, November 19 - Sunday, November 21 in Orlando, Fl.

The Athens Theatre Film Festival is designed to honor and highlight productions of outstanding achievement, created in Florida over the past year. Motion picture, television, audio recording and digital media productions have been judged by a team of Emmy, Grammy, and/or Oscar nominated and/or award winning professionals across the country.
The historic Athens Theater was the location for the presentation of the 21st Annual Crystal Reel Awards.
