Sometimes images just happen!

Jan. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Sometimes images just fall into your lap.  Tired after spending two days driving up to Applecross on the far west coast of Scotland I sat taking in the early evening light on the campsite.  It’s a lonely place with views over the Inner Sound to the Islands of Raasay and beyond that Skye.

I looked out to sea and the image above is what I could see coming together.  The sun setting to the north-west sending shafts of light through the cloud onto the Inner Sound and the islands beyond, the blues deepening with time and the mountains in the distance appearing through what half an hour before had been a haze.

I wandered down to the edge of the site, camera on tripod, and enjoyed the show!
