Portland Mobile Veterinary Practice Offsets its Vehicle Emissions

At Home Veterinary Services is donating to various carbon reduction projects to offset the carbon emissions generated by its vehicles.
Jan. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Dr. Louise Mesher, owner and principle veterinarian of At Home Veterinary Services announced today that the mobile veterinary practice will be offsetting the carbon footprint produced by their vehicle fleet.  The practice calculated their annual CO2  equivalent carbon footprint through resources provided by Carbon Footprint, Ltd.  “Since we are a mobile practice, we drive our vehicles to every appointment, and we feel that offsetting our emissions is important.” says Dr. Mesher.

After calculating their carbon footprint, At Home Veterinary Services donates part of its profits to carbon reduction projects around the world which reduce carbon emissions through the displacement of fossil fuels through clean/renewable energy generation.
