| The Journey to Visual RadioHosted by Bayerischer Rundfunk in Munich, Germany, and organized by DAVID Systems the second edition of the Tri-Media Symposium will address opportunities, challenges and findings of radio’s future on 24 January 2011.
The Symposium will be introduced by Prof. Hans-Joachim Götz, Deputy Director Production and Technology, Bayerischer Rundfunk. Mr. Jørn Erik Jensen, President WorldDMB, will provide the keynote speech addressing where broadcast technology is heading on its way to visual radio. Senior representatives from E-Steresys, Magix AG, Bayerischer Rundfunk, RTR Chur, Bayerische Medien Technik, and others, will highlight their opinions and findings in brief, view point presentations. In the open moderated panel discussion, all attendees will discuss strategies and chances for, as well as threats to, radio stations’ multi-media future. “Visual Radio has reached a stage where it has a fair chance to become a natural evolution of the radio we know today: new usages and interoperability are making progress - therefore it seemed like a natural theme for our second edition of the symposium,” states Mr. Vincent Benveniste, CEO, DAVID Systems. “We are fortunate to have in Bayerischer Rundfunk, a supporting partner the willingness to host industry experts in order to share their knowledge and debate these topics.” For more information about DAVID Systems and its products and services, please visit the company online at www.davidsystems.com.
