WAKA ‘s philanthropy is deep rooted by his upbringing by his mother, Debra Antney.  He has often spoken of his mother’s sincerity and dedication to helping any and all that are less fortunate stating that “whether it’s Christmas or any random day, we [my family and I] stay helping people”.  When asked about how his sudden success and rise to fame would affect him, WAKA promptly replied “the only thing that might be different is that we’re gonna be able to help even more people and change some lives”.  
And yes, WAKA , along with the staff of Mizay Entertainment and under the guidance of matriarch Debra Antney, consistently engage in charitable acts along the East Coast.   Whether it is participating in South Jamaica Queens  Housing Project’s “40 Day” or distributing bottles of cold water to the homeless of Atlanta on a 98◦F day or distributing thousands of turkeys  to the needy families in Clayton and Fulton counties days before the Thanksgiving Holiday,  WAKA FLOCKA FLAME is committed to blessing all who are in need.

The commitment to charitable acts, performed in public and private alike, persists in the mind and heart of WAKA FLOCKA FLAME in spite of frivolous legal allegations, shootings, and varied untruths posted in the media daily. His character propels him forward and causes him to persevere.  Therefore as his mind creates artistry in music, the character of WAKA FLOCKA FLAME consciously controls his efforts and improves the livelihood of others.
