By: A F Prince Associates PR, Charlotte NC Arthur Rutenberg Homes Has Broken Ground for its First Charlotte Area Model Home in Crescent Resources’ Springfield Community in the Greater Charlotte NC Area CHARLOTTE, NC -- Arthur Rutenberg Homes’ South Charlotte franchise, Paragon Homes of Charlotte, today broke ground for its first Model Home in the Charlotte area at Crescent Resources’ Springfield community in Fort Mill, S.C. The new 3,914 square-foot Model Home in Springfield officially launches the Arthur Rutenberg’s new Southern Design Collection as part of the company’s progressive growth strategy for both the Greater Charlotte area and Carolinas Region. Present for the ceremonial groundbreaking were Rutenberg franchise Co-Owners Jim Rosewater and Mitch Genda; along with James Martin, vice president of Crescent Communities, Craig Martin, vice president of Crescent Communities Realty, and Joe Walker, development manager with Crescent Resources. “Our new showcase Model Home named ‘The Asheville’ is our first store front in Charlotte,” stated Rosewater, “and features a distinctive French Country inspired exterior.” The model home is located on a half-acre wooded homesite situated on the scenic 18th green of Springfield’ As Rosewater further explained, “Our Model Home in Springfield will allow us to visually demonstrate what makes Arthur Rutenberg Homes different from other builders. Home buyers today are clearly more conservative, yet they don’t want to sacrifice aesthetics or functionality. So, our model will live, look and feel like a million-dollar home without the million-dollar price tag. We believe customers will be amazed by the value we will deliver. Our new Southern Design Collection was developed to deliver incredible home designs finished luxuriously at prices that were considerably higher just a few years ago.” At Springfield and throughout the Charlotte Area, Paragon Homes of Charlotte will build custom homes from their exclusive Southern Design Collection, created for the Carolinas homebuyers. Initially, the new home designs will range in size from 2,830 to more than 5,000 square feet and, as the company confirmed, with an emphasis on customization and competitive pricing. Rosewater also confirmed three new home designs “on the drawing board” to debut soon. “We want buyers to personally experience the designs, see the craftsmanship and appreciate the value. Rutenberg is famous for its open designs that bring the outdoors in and the indoors out. And our wooded homesite on the Springfield golf course is the ideal location for demonstrating that,” Rosewater added. “The Arthur Rutenberg national buying power and unique purchasing systems,” he emphasized, “means we don’t have to cut corners and can offer all the custom features, modifications and luxuries our homebuyers want, without breaking the bank. We also team with the best of local craftsmen and suppliers.” Just four months ago, Arthur Rutenberg Homes confirmed the location of its Carolinas headquarters in Charlotte and its regional plans to become a prominent leader in custom and luxury homebuilding in key markets throughout the Carolinas. The Springfield Model Home launch is a pivotal part of the Arthur Rutenberg Homes growth strategy for the Carolinas region. To date, there are three Arthur Rutenberg Homes franchise homebuilding companies in the Carolinas – two in the Charlotte area, one in Myrtle Beach, SC – with additional franchises to be announced by first quarter 2011. As Jim Rosewater stated, “The Springfield community has successfully demonstrated the strength of the Crescent brand and staying power within the Charlotte market. Our company is honored to build in this community and is inspired by Crescent’s dedication to excellence and understanding of today’s homebuyers’ needs.” James Martin, Crescent Communities vice presidents, stated, “The additional of Jim Rosewater’s experience and Arthur Rutenberg Homes’ design portfolio to Springfield is exciting. But, we’re equally excited to be working again with Mitch Genda, who brings his history of building custom homes in Crescent communities.” Regarding The Paragon Homes of Charlotte Team: Mitch Genda serves as president of Paragon Homes of Charlotte and is the current vice president of the Home Builders Association of Charlotte. Jim Rosewater further serves as regional vice president for the Arthur Rutenberg Homes’ Carolina Region. The company recently completed a major remodeling project at The Club at Longview for an 8,000 square-foot private residence. The company will also build custom homes for clients who own their own homesites.
