European SharePoint Component Vendor Layer2 announces Technology Partnership with Nintex

Dec. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Layer2 today announced its partnership with Nintex. This alliance offers a new and straightforward approach to integrating external Line-of-Business data with SharePoint workflows via the Layer2 Business Data List Connector and Nintex Workflow.

Nintex Workflow extends SharePoint’s native workflow engine to allow everyone to design, deploy, and use Microsoft SharePoint workflows quickly and easily. Nintex Workflow includes a large number of ready-to-use workflow templates and built-in integration capabilities to external systems using web services, ADO.NET, OLEDB, ODBC, LDAP, XML, and BizTalk Server. “The new partnership provides Nintex Workflow users connectivity to external data sources from SharePoint lists, with the ability for workflows to be triggered by external data changes” said Mike Fitzmaurice, Vice President of Product Technology at Nintex.
