By: Jennifer Muller Christine Lee of 96.5 WTIC was full of emotion when describing the event. "I have to say how humbled I am by this event. I was blown away by both the turnout and how seriously these women took the instruction. In two short hours so much knowledge was retained. The women learned so much from Rich Kohler. Most importantly, I saw women leaving with heads held high and a newfound confidence and attitude. The emotion was overwhelming for me." Stephanie Blozy of Fleet Feet Sports in West Hartford can't wait until next year. "All in all I'd say we put together a great event. So empowering, so rewarding." Blozy continued, “We are a tight community and there is power in numbers. It's amazing what can be achieved when we pull together". "We were successful on so many levels" said Jennifer Muller of Marketing On Demand in West Hartford. "We educated and empowered over 400 women and we raised over $7000 for Jane Doe No More a charity assisting victims of sexual assaults. Those funds will go back into the community and continue to give back to victims of sexual assault. Despite the serious nature of the day, the mood was upbeat and fun with Mark the Shark of Shark Entertainment DJ'ing, chair massages by Nurturing Hands Therapeutic Massage of West Hartford, cupcakes by the Kakery, water by Thurston Foods and raffles and prizes donated by Hot Tomato's, Travelers, Fast Lane Sports Performance, Nurturing Hands, Jonas Brothers and Fleet Feet.
