Boeing Wins $100 Million Five Years Contract from the U.S. Air Force

Boeing apprised that it has received a five-year contract from the U.S. Air Force for engineering sustainment support on the KC-135 Fleet Support Program. The contract is worth up to $20 million annually.

Dec. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Boeing apprised that it has received a five-year contract from the U.S. Air Force for engineering sustainment support on the KC-135 Fleet Support Program. The contract is worth up to $20 million annually.

"Boeing’s Oklahoma City team has set a high standard in the engineering business," said Mike Wright, KC-135 and KC-10 program director, Boeing Global Services & Support. “This contract will ensure seamless engineering sustainment support for our valued customers and war fighters."

The KC-135 Fleet Support Program has been supporting KC-135 and RC-135 aircraft at the Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center for the past 10 years. This latest contract will go into effect on Jan. 1.

The services covered under the contract include structural, systems and aerospace analysis; prototyping modifications and upgrades; liaison engineering support for Tinker Air Force Base Program Depot Maintenance and back shops; 24/7 in-flight emergency support; and accident and incident investigations.
